EIRON GmbH & Co. KG was established in 1987 as an agency and a representation office for producers of raw materials and semi-finished-products of raw materials from Australia, Asia, and North & South America.  It is registered in Königstein Ts./Germany, with the registration number HRA 3014 and has its head office in Kronberg Ts./Germany, close to Frankfurt/Main.

Since the year 2000, EIRON has co-operated with C.V.G. Ferrominera Orinoco C.A., the sixth largest iron ore producer of the world, acting as a principal.  EIRON is authorized to promote and sell Ferrominera´s iron ore products to the German, Chinese, and other world markets.

Furthermore, EIRON also is involved in iron ore trade from Brazil and India for the German and
Chinese markets on a long term basis.  References in China are: Minmetals, and Laiwu, Luanhe, Hangzhou, Xinfeng, Xuanhua, and Zhangdian Steel Works.  Other Asian customers including NKK/Nippon Steel in Japan also have undertaken business with EIRON.

References in Germany are: Thyssen Krupp Stahl AG, Hüttenwerke Krupp Mannesmann GmbH, Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH, Stahlwerke Bremen GmbH, Dillinger Hütte AG, EKO Stahl GmbH, etc. EIRON also has clients in other European Countries, such as ERDEMIR in Turkey u.o.

In its history, EIRON has sold more than 170 million tons of raw materials to the German, European, and Asian iron and steel Industries and to other customers in the cement, chemical, and energy industries.

Most of the raw materials EIRON has contracted for its principals and in its own name are iron ore. However, HBI, HBI fines, blast furnace coke, nut coke, coke breeze, petroleum coke, coking coal, PCI, aluminum, magnesium, manganese, dolomite, and chromium also are in EIRON’s list of products.

EIRON is a growing company and will add new products as they become available.  The target is to handle as many products as possible that are necessary for the iron and steel making process.

During October 2004, EIRON Eisenerz und Rohstoff GmbH & Co. KG set up a representation office in Shanghai, China, which is operating with its own staff.  Since 2007, EIRON has opened its own iron ore mines in Malaysia and has established subsidiaries iron ore production and trade, as well as co-operation with mining companies.

As a result of our long and successful history, EIRON is looked upon with great respect by customers and business partners alike and has enduring personal contacts in the segments of the market mentioned, as well as strong relationships with the producers.
