Venprecar is a Plant in the International Briquettes Holding (IBH) Division of Sivensa, a world leader in hot briquetted iron production. Venprecar Plant uses MIDREX® technology, and is capable of producing more than 900 thousand metric tons of HBI per year. Although Venprecar started commercial operations in March of 1991, IBH's export experience began in late 1970's and its product has been present in the four continents. Venprecar briquettes are produced by reducing iron ore (pellets and lumps) in a single reactor with a counter current reducing gas.

Due to its high density and metallization, low gangue, low residual content and inert character, Venprecar's HBI is the ideal metallic charge for steelmaking.

Our mission is to produce and supply metallic iron units, with the required quality, to the worldwide steel industry, within a close service oriented relationship.
