The JSC Lebedinsky Mining and Dressing Plant (Lebedinsky GOK) is the biggest in Russia and one of the 10 largest iron ore extraction enterprises in the world.

The Lebedinsky Mining and Dressing Plant was built on the basis of the Lebedinsky ferrous quartzites Deposit with objective to increase raw material reserves for ferrous metallurgy. The exploitation of the ore deposit started in 1971. Unique iron ore reserves of Lebedinsky Deposit due to it's quantity that is more than 6 billion tones and quality (lack of harmful impurities) provide stable work of the plant for a long time.

The most important activity of the Plant directed to provide stable development and competitiveness at the market is improvement of product quality and making new products with high consumer qualities. Excellent quality of the raw material that is considered to be one of the best in Europe , let the plant in 2001-2002 made up about 32% of Russian export and more than 16% for Russian market.

During the quarter of the century the Plant constantly enlarges the range of production.
Today the products are:
. Iron ore concentrate with the Fe content < 69.5%
. Iron ore concentrate with the Fe content > 69.5%
. Non-fluxed iron ore pellets with Fe content < 66.5%
. Fluxed iron ore pellets with Fe content > 66.5%
. Hot Briquetted Iron with total Fe content > 90% and metallization (reduction) > 92%
